Welcome to ClawMagic! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our platform, software, marketplace, and all associated services provided by ClawMagic (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using ClawMagic.

Article 1: General

By using ClawMagic, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and to use the platform in accordance with these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms and conditions that may apply to specific sections of the platform, the ClawMagic Marketplace, or to products and services available through ClawMagic.

Downloading, installing, or accessing ClawMagic, in any manner, whether automated or otherwise, constitutes use of the platform and your agreement to be bound by these Terms of Service.

Our mission is to offer a real solution to the growing concerns around AI. Instead of fighting what is coming, we want to build a real, community-driven ecosystem that supports our agents, our developers, and our families. ClawMagic exists so that people can work alongside AI — not be replaced by it.

Article 1a: Age Requirement

Age restrictions apply: ClawMagic does not permit those under 18 to use the Service. ClawMagic provides powerful AI agent capabilities, autonomous tool execution, and marketplace commerce — features that require a mature user capable of understanding the implications and responsibilities involved. By using ClawMagic, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Article 2: Description of Services

ClawMagic is a local-first AI agent platform that provides runtime orchestration, plugin management, skill execution, memory systems, and a community-driven marketplace. ClawMagic runs on your local machine and connects to third-party AI providers (including Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and others) to power agent workflows.

Article 3: Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ClawMagic in any capacity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you are using ClawMagic on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Article 4: User Accounts

Certain features of ClawMagic, including the Marketplace, require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, tokens, and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hey@clawmagic.ai of any unauthorized use.

Article 5: Open Source Licensing & Usage Rights

5a: Open Source — Free to Use and Resell

ClawMagic is open source. You are free to:

Download, install, and run ClawMagic for personal or commercial use.
Build plugins, skills, and integrations on top of ClawMagic.
Sell plugins and tools you create through the ClawMagic Marketplace or independently.
Fork, modify, and extend ClawMagic for your own projects and workflows.
Use ClawMagic as part of your business operations, consulting, or client services.

5b: Competitive Use Restrictions

While ClawMagic is open source, the following uses are expressly prohibited:

You may not use ClawMagic's source code, architecture, memory system, skill system, agent orchestration framework, or any substantial portion of the codebase to build, launch, market, or operate a competing product — including another “Claw” tool, agent framework, or AI runtime platform.
You may not rebrand ClawMagic or any significant portion of its code and present it as your own product.
You may not copy, replicate, or substantially derive from ClawMagic's proprietary memory system, skill routing, plugin runtime, marketplace infrastructure, or agent orchestration patterns to create a competing service.

In short: Build on ClawMagic, build with ClawMagic, sell tools for ClawMagic — but do not use ClawMagic to build another ClawMagic.

5c: Partnerships & Collaboration

We are open to partnerships, integrations, and collaboration. If you are interested in building something adjacent, complementary, or even competitive — we would rather talk about it first. Reach out at hey@clawmagic.ai and let's explore how we can work together.

Article 6: Acceptable Use & Ethical Conduct

By using ClawMagic, you agree to follow all applicable laws. You must not:

Use ClawMagic for any malicious, harmful, deceptive, or illegal purpose.
Use ClawMagic agents for unauthorized access, data exfiltration, spam, phishing, or cyberattacks.
Generate content that is illegal, hateful, violent, or sexually exploitative.
Circumvent security controls or terms of service of third-party services.
Attempt to access, interfere with, or disrupt ClawMagic's systems or other users' environments.
Violate any intellectual property rights.
Impersonate any person or organization.

6a: Agent Tools & Responsible Automation

You are responsible for the actions your agents take. Configuring an agent to perform a task is equivalent to performing that task yourself. You will configure appropriate approval gates, permission boundaries, and oversight for autonomous agent workflows. Agent tools should be used responsibly and ethically to support productive work.

Article 7: Localhost Security & Your Responsibility

ClawMagic is a localhost-first application. It runs on your computer, accesses your local filesystem, and connects to AI providers using your API keys. Any localhost tool carries inherent security risks. You are responsible for securing your computer and your ClawMagic installation, including:

Keeping your operating system, network, and firewall configurations secure.
Protecting API keys, tokens, and secrets stored in your local environment.
Reviewing and understanding the permissions of any plugin you install.
Ensuring your local network is not exposed to unauthorized access.
Using full-disk encryption and strong passwords.
Regularly updating ClawMagic and its dependencies.

Plugins extend ClawMagic's capabilities and may access your filesystem, network, and external services. Always review plugin permissions before enabling them.

Article 8: The ClawMagic Marketplace

The ClawMagic Marketplace is a community-driven platform where developers build, share, and sell plugins, skills, and tools for the ClawMagic agent ecosystem. The Marketplace is an opportunity for us all to make money together.

Developers earn money by building and selling plugins and tools.
Users save money by purchasing pre-built tools instead of building everything from scratch.
Everyone benefits from a growing library of agent capabilities, skills, and integrations.

We believe the best response to AI disruption is to give people the tools to work alongside it — and to make sure they get paid for their contributions. The Marketplace is how we do that.

Article 9: Pricing & Purchases

Plugins are priced by their creators in U.S. dollars across three tiers: Free, Paid, and Premium. Prices are displayed before purchase. The price applied will be the price listed at the time the order is placed. Payment is due immediately at time of purchase.

Customization & Compatibility

The Marketplace saves you time and money by providing pre-built tools. However, if you have customized your ClawMagic installation, purchased plugins may require adjustments to work with your specific configuration. Plugin creators build against the standard ClawMagic runtime. It is your responsibility to ensure compatibility with your environment.

All Sales Are Final

All Marketplace sales are final. Due to the digital nature of plugins (once downloaded, they cannot be “returned”), we do not offer automatic refunds.

If you experience a legitimate problem — such as a plugin being fundamentally broken, misrepresented, or containing malicious code — please email us first at hey@clawmagic.ai before filing any dispute. We will work with you and the plugin creator to resolve the issue fairly.

What qualifies for dispute consideration: Non-functional plugins, materially misleading descriptions, or security vulnerabilities.

What does NOT qualify: Change of mind, minor compatibility adjustments needed for custom setups, unread descriptions, or subjective expectations.

Dispute Process

Email hey@clawmagic.ai with purchase details and a clear description of the issue.
Our team will review the dispute and may contact the plugin creator.
We will respond within a reasonable timeframe with a resolution.
Resolutions may include a Marketplace credit, replacement, or in exceptional cases, a refund.

Chargebacks or payment disputes filed without contacting us first may result in suspension of your Marketplace account.

Article 10: Selling on the Marketplace

Any developer can submit plugins to the ClawMagic Marketplace. Submissions go through automated review (manifest validation, permission checks, dependency checks, security scans) and may also receive manual review.

As a seller, you agree to provide accurate descriptions, maintain your plugins, respond to buyer inquiries in good faith, and comply with all applicable laws.

Revenue & Commission Structure

ClawMagic takes a commission on paid plugin sales. Commission rates range from 15% to 60% depending on the following factors:

Account Level: Commission rates are tied to your seller account level. New sellers start at a standard commission tier and can earn more favorable rates as they build a track record. Higher account levels — earned through sustained quality, positive buyer feedback, and consistent sales — receive lower commission rates, meaning you keep more of each sale.
Commission Tier: ClawMagic operates a tiered commission structure. The specific tier applied to your sales depends on your account level, the volume and quality of your submissions, and your standing in the community. Sellers who contribute high-quality, well-maintained plugins benefit from reduced commission rates over time.
Plugin Category & Pricing: Commission rates may vary based on the type of plugin, its pricing tier (Free, Paid, Premium), and the complexity of review and support required. Premium plugins that require deeper security review or dedicated support resources may carry different commission rates.
Promotional & Launch Considerations: ClawMagic may offer promotional commission rates for new sellers, featured plugins, seasonal campaigns, or strategic partnerships. Promotional rates are temporary and will be clearly communicated with their terms and duration.

Why the commission exists: Running a real marketplace with real infrastructure, real reviews, and real support costs real money. The commission ensures servers stay running, submissions get reviewed, support is available, the platform keeps improving, and the community is protected from fraud. Our goal is to maximize what creators earn while keeping the platform sustainable.

Current commission rates and your specific tier are always visible in your Marketplace seller dashboard. Changes to the commission structure will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.

Payouts

Seller payouts are processed according to the payout schedule in your Marketplace dashboard. Payout methods and minimum balance thresholds may apply.

Article 11: Intellectual Property

All content on ClawMagic, including code, templates, UI, plugin runtime architecture, memory systems, skill routing, agent orchestration, marketplace infrastructure, documentation, branding, and logos, is protected under intellectual property law and is owned by ClawMagic and its contributors. Open source licensing grants usage rights — it does not transfer ownership.

Your content is yours. You retain ownership of plugins, skills, and integrations you create. By submitting to the Marketplace, you grant ClawMagic a non-exclusive license to host, distribute, and promote your plugin. This license terminates if you remove the plugin (existing buyer licenses remain valid).

Purchasing a plugin grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it within your ClawMagic environment. You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense purchased plugins unless explicitly permitted by the creator.

AI-generated content is subject to the terms of the underlying AI provider. ClawMagic does not claim ownership of AI-generated output.

Article 12: Third-Party Tools & Services

ClawMagic integrates with third-party AI services including Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google (Gemini), and others. Use of these services is also governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service issues, outages, pricing changes, or policy changes. You are responsible for obtaining your own API keys and any costs incurred through third-party AI services via ClawMagic.

Article 13: Review Process & Quality Standards

All Marketplace submissions go through automated and/or manual review. ClawMagic reserves the right to reject submissions that do not meet quality or security standards, remove published plugins that violate these Terms, and suspend or ban sellers who repeatedly submit non-compliant content.

Article 14: Privacy Policy

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information. ClawMagic is built on a local-first architecture — your data lives on your machine and stays under your control.

Article 15: Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the platform in harmful ways. Upon termination, your right to use the Marketplace ceases. Previously purchased plugin licenses remain valid for plugins already downloaded. You may delete your account at any time by contacting hey@clawmagic.ai.

Your right to use the open source ClawMagic software locally is governed by the open source license and is not affected by Marketplace termination, provided you comply with Article 5.

Article 16: Disclaimer of Warranties

ClawMagic is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or security. Marketplace plugins are created by third-party developers, not by ClawMagic. We do not guarantee the functionality, security, compatibility, or fitness of any Marketplace plugin. You use ClawMagic at your own risk.

Article 17: Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClawMagic and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of ClawMagic, including loss of data, revenue, or profits; damage to your systems; unauthorized access resulting from your security; actions taken by AI agents you configured; or third-party plugin behavior.

Article 18: Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ClawMagic, its contributors, maintainers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of ClawMagic, violation of these Terms, plugins or content you create, actions taken by agents you deploy, or any malicious or unauthorized use of the Software.

Article 19: Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice. By continuing to access or use ClawMagic after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the platform and the Service.

Article 20: Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. Contact us at hey@clawmagic.ai before pursuing any formal action.

Article 21: Community Spirit

The Marketplace works because people contribute real, useful tools. Sellers: build quality tools, be honest, and support your buyers. Buyers: read descriptions before purchasing, report issues constructively, and respect the work that goes into building plugins. We are all in this together — an opportunity to build, earn, and grow as a community. Instead of fighting the wave of AI change, let's channel it into something that works for everyone.
